About Us
Port Hughes Fishing Charters has been operating for over 20 years and has provided keen fishermen and women with amazing fishing adventures.
We operate out of Port Hughes on the Yorke Peninsula, around 2 hours from Adelaide. Your skipper is Mick, a very easy going and knowledgeable charter operator who wants nothing but to provide you with the best fishing experience and onboard service possible.

Where we go
Departing from the Port Hughes boat ramp, Mick's boat will get you out to the middle of the Spencer Gulf in around 40 – 60 minutes where he knows some of the best spots to go for the big fish including snapper, whiting, snook, squid, garfish and blue swimmer crabs.
What to bring
We ask that you bring your own food and drink (alcohol is permitted), suitable clothing, and a thirst for catching big fish.
What NOT to bring
Bananas.
